National Day

What i want to say here is HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SINGAPORE!!!!!
Today is national day. It is a special day for us Singaporeans, today is the day where we celebrate Singapore's birthday.
Its been a long way down the road.
But Singapore braved many storms. And now we have a happy, peaceful paradise.
Today, i went to Northpoint to buy a tiramisu cake with the words " happy birthday, Singapore!" on the cake.

Well, today was certainly crowded with many people. On this special day, you could actually see people wearing red, which means that normally there are actually very less people willing to wear red on a normal day.

I wore white today, due to the fact i do not have red, which is a pity.
I'm so glad that Singaporeans love their country.

Today, my mother is going to the national day parade. I mean its a rare chance to go to the parade on national day. I went to the rehearsal twice, it was really fun , with all the fire works, performances and all but the unfun part about it, is that it is hard to get home. The traffic is jammed and there are a lot of people in the trains.

But despite all, it was a good experience.

I think i shall ask my mother about her experience on today's national day parade.

Well, after all, experiencing is different from the television.
